Stand-Alone Power Systems
A stand-alone system means that you are operating as your own total power source. This type of power system will require a bank of deep-cycle solar batteries (NOT solar batteries) that are charged up by the PV panels and can provide power for three to five days. A Stand-alone Power system also can be called a RAPS (Remote Area Power Systems). Stand-alone power systems can be either 240 volt or 12 volt . A back up power supply may still be required to ensure power in times of bad weather, or excessive power use.
These systems are usually for homes located in a remote areas, and do not have access to the power grid.
Anything Solar can design a system to
suit your needs and budget.
